My wife and I immersed ourselves deeply in the blogosphere when we launched FamilyTrek.org.  For six consecutive months after launching we published new content 6 days a week.  We never missed a day and took our writing very seriously.  We no longer publish 6 days a week (we now publish 4 days a week) but the initial push helped us really develop a discipline to our writing.

Recently on FamilyTrek I wrote about how we ended up living in my in-laws garage.  Within just a few hours of being published the post quickly become our most read to date.

Actually, as far as in-laws go....they're not bad

I’m sharing it here because the scope of the article goes far beyond family travel.  It’s really about figuring out what you want your life to look like and then being willing to take extreme measures to achieve that life.  It’s about being in sync with your spouse.  It’s about not settling.

Here’s how it happened… How our family ended up living in my in-laws garage….
